Can SmartPOSapp replace my accounting?
SmartPOSapp provides the cash data your accounting needs: day closings, VAT reports and revenue overviews. You can export the reports and import them into your own accounting package, so you no longer have to retype sales receipts by hand.
How does the automatic day closing work?
At the end of the day you close the till with a single tap. The system calculates total revenue, VAT per rate and payment methods. You immediately get a closing report you can print, email or export.
Which VAT rates does the system support?
You set your own standard and reduced VAT rate in the site settings. The correct rate is applied per transaction and per product. VAT reporting shows revenue per rate by day, week and month.
Is accounting included in every subscription?
Accounting is a module you can turn on or off per subscription. The pricing page shows exactly which subscriptions include the accounting module. The admin can also enable the module separately per venue.
Can I export the accounting data?
Yes. The reporting can be exported as CSV or linked via the API. This makes it easy to import day closings and VAT overviews into accounting programs such as Twinfield, Exact, AccountView or other packages.
