Monitor purchase prices with the price radar

Suppliers often raise prices unnoticed. The radar compares every new invoice line with the cost price in your till and warns you right away when your margin shrinks.

The problem: creeping margin loss

Frying oil 8% more expensive, beer 5% up, meat rising again. Single increases seem small, but as long as your selling prices stay the same you lose margin every day. Often you only notice in the annual figures.

How it works

  1. 1

    Link an invoice line

While checking a purchase invoice you link a line to the till product and enter the quantity. After the first time it's faster.

  2. 2

    Automatic comparison

The radar calculates the new unit price and compares it with the cost price currently in your till.

  3. 3

    Alert from 3%

If the cost rises 3% or more you immediately see old and new price, the percentage and how much your margin drops.

  4. 4

    Update in one click

Update only the cost price, or also set the selling price to the suggestion. The suggestion keeps your old margin and rounds up to 5 cents.

What you gain

  • See price increases the day the invoice arrives
  • Margin loss per product in percent
  • Suggested selling price that keeps your margin
  • Till and menu updated in one click
  • Price history per product in a chart

Real-world example

A soft drink cost € 0.80 in the till and sells for € 3.50. The new invoice says € 0.88: 10% more, margin drops from 72% to 70%. The radar suggests € 3.85 and in one click that price is on the till.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to link every invoice line?

Only products you sell on the till. Lines like cleaning supplies or deposits stay unlinked.

Is my selling price changed automatically?

No. You see the suggestion and choose whether to update only the cost price or the selling price too.

Do I see price decreases too?

Yes. You always see the change against the current cost price, and the price history shows the trend up and down.
