1. SmartPOSapp purchases
SmartPOSapp supplies pre-installed POS systems, hardware and software services for businesses. Contact customer service with your order number, purchase date and products for cancellation or return requests. We will confirm the correct return address and handling.
Hardware is shipped within the Netherlands or delivered on site by arrangement. Software access is provided digitally and installation follows the agreed appointment. Delivery dates and charges are recorded in your confirmation or installation arrangements.
2. Business purchases
Business buyers do not automatically have the statutory fourteen-day consumer withdrawal right. Cancellation, returns, charges and termination follow your quotation, order confirmation and signed agreement. This page does not introduce an additional business return guarantee.
Contact us promptly to change or cancel installation. Only agreed and legally permitted charges will apply.
3. Statutory consumer withdrawal
If you buy at a distance as a consumer and no statutory exception applies, you may withdraw without giving a reason within fourteen days. For goods the period normally starts the day after receipt; for services the day after the agreement is concluded. Send an unequivocal withdrawal email before the deadline with your name, address, order number and purchase or receipt date.
Return goods within fourteen days of withdrawal. You may inspect them as in a shop; further use may result in a deduction for diminished value. Direct return costs are yours only if disclosed before purchase; otherwise we bear them.
For valid withdrawal, we refund payments including standard outbound delivery within fourteen days of notice, using the same payment method unless you agree otherwise. For goods we may wait for their return or evidence of dispatch. Extra costs for a more expensive chosen delivery method need not be refunded.
4. Digital content, services and exceptions
Digital products do not lose withdrawal rights simply because they are digital. The exception for immediately delivered digital content requires statutory conditions including prior express consent, acknowledgement of losing the right and the required confirmation.
If a service starts during the withdrawal period at your express request, proportionate charges may apply following proper information. Fully performed services are exempt only under the statutory conditions. Goods genuinely made to individual specifications may be exempt; ordinary pre-installation does not automatically make hardware custom-made.
5. Meals, table orders and invoices
The venue named on the order screen sells and supplies your order. Prepaid orders are submitted only after confirmed payment. Orders added to a table bill are settled according to the venue’s arrangements. Contact the venue about cancellations, errors, complaints or refunds.
Rapidly perishable goods and certain catering services for a specific date or time are subject to statutory withdrawal exceptions. These do not automatically apply to all hospitality purchases. Correct delivery and other statutory rights remain the seller’s responsibility.
Paying an existing house-account invoice settles the relevant debt; it is not a new purchase from SmartPOSapp. Contact the seller named on the invoice for corrections or refunds.
6. Tickets and refunds
After confirmed payment, tickets are made available digitally and emailed according to the order details. Leisure services or events for a specific date or period are generally exempt from statutory withdrawal. Event cancellation or postponement follows the organiser’s terms and your statutory rights.
Approved refunds are processed by the responsible seller through the payment provider. The time funds reach your account depends on the provider and bank. Contact the seller with your payment reference about missing orders or refunds.
