HACCP on your kitchen display
Wi-Fi temperature sensors in your cold room and freezer
Have the temperature of your refrigeration recorded automatically, even at night. No more walking past every fridge with a thermometer.
Manual readings miss the night
A manual reading is a snapshot. If a cold room fails overnight, you only notice the next morning, after the stock has already been too warm.
How it works
- 1
Link a sensor
Link a sensor to a cold room, freezer or counter in the HACCP settings.
- 2
Recorded automatically
The sensor sends its readings over Wi-Fi; they are stored in the log.
- 3
Alert after 15 minutes
Only when it stays too warm for 15 minutes do you get an alert, so a door left open while restocking doesn't trigger a false alarm.
What you gain
- Measured at night and at weekends too
- No manual thermometer work
- Fewer false alarms
- Readings straight into the log
Real-world example
While restocking, the cold-room door is open for ten minutes: no alert. If the compressor fails and it stays too warm, an alert follows after 15 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need internet in the cold room?
The sensor must be able to reach your Wi-Fi network.
Can I still measure manually?
Yes. Manual and sensor readings end up in the same log.
SmartPOSapp helps you record and keep your data, but it is not a certification. You remain responsible for your own food safety plan.
