Frequently asked questions about QR codes in hospitality
Yes. The code simply contains your web address and never expires. As long as that link keeps existing, the code works. If your menu URL changes, create a new code.
Yes. The generated codes are yours and you're free to use them on table stands, windows, flyers or packaging. There's no logo, watermark or redirect from us in them.
For a table stand, 3 to 4 cm is enough. If you hang the code on a window or pole, use roughly 1 cm of code per 10 cm of reading distance. Always print on white with enough white space around it.
If the code points to a fixed page on your own site, you only need to update that page. If you point to a PDF with a new file name, you'll need to make the code again. So it's better to choose a fixed URL.
Not with a standalone code to a PDF. With SmartPOSapp's QR ordering module, the guest scans the table code, orders on their own phone and the order comes in on the till or kitchen display.
